Visa on Arrival / Embassy Visa

  • Check official list: evisa.gov.tr

e-Visa Application

  1. Go to evisa.gov.tr
  2. Select nationality, purpose, entry date
  3. Upload passport photo
  4. Pay fee by credit card
  5. Receive e-visa by email in minutes
  6. Print and bring to Turkey

Requirements

  • Passport valid 6+ months from entry
  • Return ticket (sometimes checked)
  • Hotel booking proof (sometimes)
  • At least 2 blank passport pages

Duration

  • Most e-visas: 30-90 day stay
  • Single or multiple entry
  • Validity: 6 months from issue

  • Standard tourist visa covers Cappadocia
  • No additional permits needed
  • Drone users: separate permits required

Apply 1-2 weeks before travel. The e-visa is almost instant but emergency overnight applications are not recommended.
