What does the Green Tour (without tickets) include and exclude?
The price includes hotel transfer (pick-up & drop-off), an air-conditioned vehicle, a professional guide, lunch and insurance. Entrance tickets for Kaymaklı Underground City and Ihlara Valley are NOT included; you pay these at the gate. Drinks, personal expenses and tips are also not included.
Which entrance fees do I need to pay separately?
Entrances to Kaymaklı Underground City and Ihlara Valley are at your own expense. As ticket prices change from time to time, please ask your guide or check at the ticket office for the current amount. On the "with tickets" Green Tour these entrances are included.
How difficult is the Ihlara Valley walk?
You'll walk roughly 4 km in Ihlara Valley along a mostly flat, shaded riverside path. Anyone with average fitness can complete it comfortably. Comfortable, non-slip walking shoes are recommended.
How long is the tour and what time is pick-up?
It's a full-day tour; you'll be picked up from your hotel around 09:30 and dropped off around 17:00. Transfers are provided from hotels in the Göreme, Avanos and Ürgüp areas.
Is lunch included and are there vegetarian options?
Yes, lunch is included and served at a riverside restaurant in Belisırma Village. Vegetarian and special dietary requests can be arranged if you let us know when booking.
Is Kaymaklı Underground City suitable if I'm claustrophobic?
The underground city has some narrow, low passages in places. If you have severe claustrophobia you can skip this section and wait outside with your guide; it won't stop you from enjoying the rest of the tour.

What's the difference between the Green Tour and Red Tour?
The Green Tour focuses on the southwest of Cappadocia (Ihlara Valley, Kaymaklı Underground City, Selime) and involves more walking. The Red Tour covers sites closer to Göreme (Göreme Open Air Museum, Uçhisar, Avanos). If you have 2 days in Cappadocia, doing both is the ideal choice.
